We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming — but at Word and Life, we’ve created a warm, welcoming environment to make your first visit relaxed and meaningful. Here’s what you can expect when you arrive.
Friendly parking attendants will guide you to an available space and help direct you to the correct campus entrance.
Whether you’re joining our Afrikaans services (08:30 & 17:00) or any English service 08:30, 10:30 & 17:00, they’ll make sure you get to the right venue and service.
If you have children, we have two safe and convenient PowerKids entrances:
At Word and Life, we understand the needs of parents with little ones. That’s why we’ve created a spacious, state-of-the-art Mothers Room designed to offer both comfort and connection.
This beautiful facility includes a welcoming reception area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable sitting room with plush chairs. The room features advanced sound technology and a large see-through glass panel, so you can stay fully engaged with the service while caring for your child.
We’ve also created a dedicated play area for children three years and younger, allowing them to enjoy their time in a safe and stimulating environment.
For added convenience, the Mothers Room includes several private breastfeeding stations and nappy changing facilities. Everything has been thoughtfully designed with both you and your child in mind.
We’d love for you to feel right at home.
The usher will then walk you to a comfortable seat, so you can settle in before the service begins.
A countdown timer will let you know when the service is about to start — we begin promptly and value your time.
We start with a warm welcome and announcements, followed by a vibrant, energetic time of worship. The lyrics are displayed on-screen so you can easily follow along.
Worship is central at Word and Life — it’s one of our deepest values.
During the service, there will be an opportunity to give.
The highlight of our service is the teaching from the Word of God — practical, Spirit-filled, and life-changing.
After the message, there is a moment to reflect, and if you’d like, a time where our prayer team is available to pray with you.
We would love to welcome you and your family to one of our services. You’re not just visiting a church — you’re coming home to your spiritual family.
