3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers…
Prov 17:22 (NKJV) A HAPPY person is a HEALTHY person, but a depressed person falls sick.

Healthy Families, Healthy ChurchHealthy Body,
Healthy Soul, and Healthy Spirit: This week, we are talking about a Healthy Body. At the beginning of the early church, there was a group of people who believed that God was only interested in the SPIRIT of people and that the BODY of man was not worth anything. God did not really care about the BODY of man, they believed. They believed that you could sin as much as you wanted, because it was only the body that sinned; the spirit of man was not affected. It is important to know that God is not only interested in our SPIRIT, but also in our BODY and SOUL. The Bible says that our “body is a temple”. A temple for God’s SPIRIT, therefore, we must look carefully at our body. Why should we care for our bodies? We need our bodies to preach. It is this earthly body that must do the work of Christ. It is with our bodies that we “GO”. The Bible asks us to go to Judea (Our Town), Samaria (Our Province), and the whole world and to preach. How can we “GO” if our bodies cannot move, and how can we “GO” if our bodies are not functioning well?
Reread today’s texts and talk about them:
• Why are our bodies so important to God?
• What can we do to keep our bodies healthy?
