  1. Open with prayer.

  2. Read:

    • Acts 1:7–8 (NLT): “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

    • Romans 1:20 (NLT): “For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”

  3. Watch the video by Raymond Nell.

  4. Discuss the seven symbols of the Holy Spirit:

    1. Wind – Acts 2:1–4

    2. Fire – Acts 2:1–4

    3. Dove – Luke 3:21–22

    4. Water – Isaiah 44:3–4

    5. Cloud – 2 Chronicles 5:13–14

    6. Oil – Acts 10:37–38

    7. Wine – Acts 2:13–20

Application and Questions For the next 7 days: Ask the Holy Spirit to meet with you each day through a new symbol or characteristic (from the list above). Allow Him to search your life and give Him the opportunity to provide feedback on areas that need to be transformed.
